Woven Together

One big story

The Bible is made up of 66 books, written by different authors, in different centuries, and in different styles.  But it is also one big story, written in all its colour and intricacy to show us who God is and what he’s done for us in Christ.

In this workshop, we’re going to trace some themes through the whole of the Bible, to see how God reveals himself and his plan of salvation, even in the details of how the Bible is written. The morning will be really interactive – so come prepared to get stuck in!

When and where is it?

The workshop is on Saturday 18 March and will start at 10am, at Beeston Free Church.  We’ll aim to finish at 1pm and then eat lunch together.

Who is it for?

If you’re a woman, you are invited!  It doesn’t matter if you are plugged into our existing women’s bible studies or not, we’d love to see as many women in the church as possible come along. You don’t need to have any previous experience doing this sort of stuff, just an excitement to see what God will teach us through his Word.

Do I need to bring anything?

Bring your Bible and anything else you think might be helpful – coloured pens, laptops, dictionaries, anything you want really!

Do I need to book and how much does it cost?

Yes please – booking would be really helpful.  You can do that by filling out the form here.

We’d ask for a donation of £5 to cover the cost of printing, refreshments and lunch.  But if that is a problem, please talk to Anne, we would much rather you came along if you can!
