Friday nights @ the shed
Friday nights @The Shed takes place at Beeston Youth and Community Centre and seeks to engage with young people who would not normally come into contact with church. Games, chat and a short epilogue form part of the evening
Friday evenings 7.30-9.00 at The Shed, Beeston Youth and Community Centre
Schools work

We have the great privilege of being able to visit a number of local primary schools twice each term to take school assemblies, and share something of the bible and what we believe. This work has been going on for many years and is welcomed by teachers, and the local community. It is an excellent way to reach out. Our regular activities are occasionally supplemented by a “Bible Exhibition” led by evangelist, Jem Hudson.
Nursing home outreach
A small team visits three local nursing homes on the second Wednesday of each month to take a brief and simple service for the benefit of the residents and their visitors. We sing some of the old hymns and give a simple gospel message, then spend time chatting and getting to know the residents better.
Ladies events
About three times a year special Saturday evening events with a speaker are laid on in the main church building, primarily covering topics of interest to ladies. This provides an opportunity to invite friends to come hear the talk in a friendly ‘cafe-style’ environment and build relationships.
