We are committed as a church to sending out trained workers to undertake gospel work in other areas of the U.K. and worldwide to fulfill our responsibility as commanded in the bible. We do this by providing training opportunities in our own church, supporting members entering theological study and sending out our own members to Christian work elsewhere. We call those "sent out" by our church Mission Partners. We also are supportive of others who have become well known to us, who have been sent by other churches. These are known as Mission Associates. Here are details on our present partners and associates and likes to the organisations to which they belong. If you would like to be put in touch with any of these workers please contact the church office. We also have a committee that seeks to stimulate interest in mission and helps communicate the needs and news from our partners and associates. For more information on our mission committee please contact the church office. Go to our programme page to find out about special mission evenings on Wednesdays.

The Clark Family

Jonathan, Dawn and their three children, moved to Athens in January 2007 to work with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). Initially their work is simply to learn to speak Greek and understand how things work among students so that, longer term, they can encourage Greek Christian students in their witness to their fellow students in universities. We'll do this through training and support of students in their discipleship and evangelism, so that they will faithfully live and speak for Jesus. Jonathan and Dawn both worked for UCCF before heading for Greece.

The Skipper Family

Jonathan and Clare and their two children moved to Barcelona in September 2008 to work with Grupos Bíblicos Universitarios (GBU) - the Spanish equivalent of UCCF. Their role is to support and train small groups of christian students in living for Jesus on campus across the universities of Barcelona. Jonathan and Clare have links with GBU going back to their own time as international students in Barcelona in 1998-99. They have two young children, Timothy and Miriam.

Steve Baraniak (UCCF)

Formally a trainee at Beeston Free Steve is now working as a staff worker with UCCF in the East Central team. He is responsible for Christian Unions spreading from Cambridge to Colchester via Ipswich and Chelmsford. Steve spends his time supporting, training and encouraging students to live for Christ on campus, helping them to intelligently and creatively make Christ and his gospel known to their fellow students and to adorn that same gospel with their lives.
