What is holiday club?

Beeston Free have been running a holiday club for primary school children for over 20 years. This involves four or five mornings of activities for children, including Bible stories, games, singing, crafts, puppets, and quizzes.

“Holiday Heroes”

This year we will be having great fun pretending to be superheroes, with many activities related to this theme. Most importantly we will be looking at Mark’s gospel to see how Jesus is the greatest hero, how he has provided the rescue that nobody else could, and how he is powerful over all creation.

Who is holiday club for?

Holiday Club is for all primary school aged children: whether they normally attend church or a church group or not. Children need to be 5 by 31st December 2018 and no older than 11 by the first day of the club (21st August). If your child requires extra support or assistance they are also very welcome: please do get in touch beforehand if you feel that this would be helpful.

When does holiday club run?

This year holiday club is running from Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th August, between the 9:30am and 12:30pm. Children are welcome for 1, 2, 3 or 4 days as they are able to attend.

How do I register?

You can register online here before Sunday 19th August or you can turn up and register on the first day your child attends. Holiday Club is run by volunteers from the church and there is no charge for any of the activities.

How can I find out more?

Please get in touch with the church office  who will be happy to answer further questions.
