Want to find out more about Christianity but not quite sure how?

Then “The World We all Want” is for you.  It’s a course designed to help you explore the Christian message in a relaxed, informative and helpful way.  Each week there is a short presentation, some small group discussion and plenty of time for general chat.

On Sunday 19th February 2012 in our evening service we will be considering the big question “An arrogant faith: How can Jesus really be the ONLY way to know God?”

1st March

Men’s event: An evening with Colin Slater, BBC Nottingham’s footballer commentator for Notts County.  Tickets available from the church office an include a 3 course meal.

3rd March

Henrietta Blyth lost her older brother in a tragic accident at the age of eight. The unconscious coping mechanisms she adopted in the aftermath have taken her years to dismantle – a journey that has taken her to Nepal, Hong Kong and Africa. She now works as an executive director at Tearfund, a Christian relief and development agency. On 3rd March she will tell us her story and the lessons she has learnt along the way about God, grief and love.
